Ingredients
- Chicken 1/2 kg
- Bay leaves 2
- Salt to taste
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp.
- Onion, 1 chopped finely
- Ginger paste 1/2 tsp.
- Garlic paste 1/2 tsp.
- Flour (maida) 2 Tbs.
- Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp.
- Yoghurt 1/4 cup
- Oil 2 Tbs.
Grind together:
- Saunf 1 Tbs.
- Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp.
- Pepper 1/2 tsp
- Dry Ginger powder 1/4 tsp.
- Badi elaichi 1
- Cinnamon 1/2″
- Nutmeg powder 1/4 tsp.
- Cloves 5
Directions
- Heat oil in a pot. Saute chicken till light brown . Remove, drain and keep aside .Fry onion, till golden brown.
- Add meat and grinned ingredients, ginger-garlic paste, salt, chilli powder, yogurt, turmeric powder and bay leaves.
- Add required water (approx 3-4 glasses) and let the chicken cook on slow flame till tender.
- Then dissolve maida in 1/2 cup water, and pour slowly into the chicken , stirring continuously.
- Let it cook for some more time, and get the gravy to required consistency.
- Garnish with grated ginger, coriander leaves and green chillies .
Serve hot with Naan .
